It’s essential, especially if you’ve been inactive for a while, that you begin a new exercise program slowly. Forcing your body to go from zero to sixty without appropriate time to strengthen muscles and tendons is sure to lead to injuries like ankle sprains and Achilles tendonitis, as well as extreme fatigue.
